The objective of the present study is to 1) investigate the acute and chronic pain prevalence and impact among adults in mainland China; 2) determine the preferences of the adults regarding the future digital pain education programme; and 3) understand the interventional strategies employed by adults to alleviate pain.

Inclusion criteria comprised individuals aged older than 18 years old, residents of mainland China proficient in Chinese, and owners of smartphones with internet access.；

排除标准

Exclusion criteria encompassed individuals dealing with drug addiction, dyslexia, intellectual disability, or severe mental illness.；
