Objectives: 1) To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of community care worker (CCW) intervention in chronic disease prevention and management (HbA1c, Blood pressure, Body weight/waist circumference) when comparing to usual care provided by dietitian intervention, and nurse intervention in real-world settings; 2) To find the next adaptive intervention when participants do not respond to the initial intervention due to individual differences.

To perform simple randomization into three groups, we used Excel’s random number generator. We started by listing each participant in a separate row and generated a random number next to each one using the formula =RAND(). After generating the random numbers, we sorted the list in ascending order. Then, we assigned participants to the three groups in sequence—Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3—as we moved down the sorted list. This approach allowed me to randomly and evenly distribute participants across all groups.
