临床试验信息
试验目的

(1) To examine the feasibility of a 8-week structured mindfulness based intervention group for parents with a child who died of cancer; (2) To examine the effects of the intervention on reducing grief related reactions and complications and psychological distress among these parents; and (3) To further examine the acceptability of the intervention in terms of the participants perceived effectiveness of the programme and the extent of their participation in the intervention.

入选标准

1) Parents of children with a child who died of cancer or cancer related death; 2) at least 6 months have been passed since the death of the child.；

排除标准

1) parents being unable to read Chinese or understand Cantonese as the intervention will be conducted in group format in Chinese Cantonese; 2) unable to participate in the 8 week intervention; 3) the presence of severe physical or mental health conditions which hinder the participation of the 8 week intervention.；
