1. patients underwent surgical management of large difficult CBDS after ERCP failure; 2. in the period from the beginning of 2013 to the beginning of 2018; 3. in the department of hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery (tertiary care center), National Liver Institute (NLI), University of Menoufia, Menoufia, Egypt.；

排除标准

1-cases with data loss, 2-those who did not complete the follow-up 3-who refused researches；
