The company operated under a three-tier strategy, one part of which is involved with the discovery of cell signal modifying, potentially therapeutic molecules. Echelon also focused on small molecule agonists and antagonists to lipid-protein signaling interactions, with early therapeutic leads against ovarian cancer.
