临床试验信息

试验目的

Study 1: - Provide a model to the existing understanding of the relationship between self-critical perfectionism and depression/anxiety as well as the underlying mechanisms. - Identify prominent factors such that intervention can be developed to mitigate self-critical perfectionists from developing depression/anxiety. Study 2: - Test the efficacy of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a low-intensity early intervention for those at risk for depression and anxiety. - Conduct a focus group analysis on those high in self-critical perfectionism. - Examine the impact of therapeutic alliance on treatment effect. - Test the model as proposed in Study 1 with this longitudinal data.

A research staff who is blinded to the study's design will randomly allocate the list of enrolled participants to either condition 1 (treatment group) or condition 2 (waitlist control) using Excel.

入选标准

Study 1: Adults aged 18 or above. Study 2: Adults aged 18-65; people with at least mild level of depression or anxiety；

排除标准

Study 1: None Study 2: People with serious mental disorder; people with suicidal attempt within the past 6 months or scored 2 or above on item 9 of Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9); people with active psychotic symptoms; people receiving active psychological intervention；
