stroke survivors’ lower-limb
Portable ultrasound imaging device for investigation of the skeletal muscle activity of patients with stroke
Portable ultrasound imaging device for investigation of the skeletal muscle activity of patients with stroke
This project in the long run aims to identify the lower limb motor control mechanism in stroke patients with the minimal of individual differences, thus guiding a more effective stroke treatment strategy for future implementation. Specifically, the objectives of study are: 1) To compare the lower limb muscle morphology and contraction mechanism of effected side and uneffected side; 2) To identify the lower limb motion control mechanism of stroke patients by investigation of kinematic, kinetic, contractile (i.e. muscle architecture and lateral vibration) and neuromuscular activation characteristics;
