A pilot study on a theory-based peer supporter training program for migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong
This study aims to preliminarily estimate the effects of a newly developed peer supporter training program for Filipino migrant domestic workers.

The randomization scheme will be generated through the website Randomization.com by a research assistant who does not involve participant recruitment, intervention delivery, or data collection.
Participants and the trainer are not possible to be blinded to group allocation due to the nature of this study.

(1) aged 20 or older; (2) having worked as a migrant domestic worker in Hong Kong for at least two years; (3) having relevant lived experience of mental distress; (4) not receiving any acute mental health treatment at the time of this study; (5) scored less than 11 on both subscales of the 14-item Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale; and (6) able to communicate and write in English.；
