临床试验信息

试验目的

1. To determine the diagnostic accuracy of commonly used malnutrition screening instruments (using the original instrument’s scoring method and Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition (GLIM) consensus-based criteria) against the Subjective Global Assessment (SGA) performed by a dietician (gold standard) in patients scheduled for major elective cardiothoracic or general surgery. 2. To estimate the prevalence and severity of preoperative malnutrition using the most accurate nutrition assessment criteria. 3. To identity and determine the relative importance of preoperative malnutrition risk factors using the “Determinants of Malnutrition in Aged Persons (DoMAP)” framework. 4. To examine the association between preoperative malnutrition and quality of recovery outcomes after major elective cardiothoracic or general surgery.

入选标准

Consecutive adults undergoing major and ultramajor cardiothoracic, hepatobiliary-pancreatic, head and neck, upper gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery will be eligible for the study.；

排除标准

Patients undergoing emergency or palliative surgery, with major comorbidities precluding surgery, are mentally incompetent, any current disorder impairing accurate and objective completion of the questionnaires, or are unable to understand Chinese or English.；
