促进香港新移民家庭心理社会调适：平行亲子正念干预的随机对照试验
Using a 2-arm randomized controlled trial design that includes an intervention group and a service-as-usual control group, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of 8 sessions of synchronized parent-child mindfulness intervention on parent, child, and family well-being of new migrant families in Hong Kong, through the mediating role of sociocultural adjustment.

Through an ongoing recruitment notice, families who sign up for the program will be randomly assigned to the intervention or control group on a rolling basis. Every eight weeks, 18–24 families will be randomized on a 1:1 ratio.

Eligible families include those containing at least one family member who migrated from Mainland China and has been living in Hong Kong for fewer than seven years, who has indicated parent-child relationship issues, daily stress, or difficulties in overall adjustment in Hong Kong. For each eligible family, one parent (either father or mother) and one child (aged 7–15) will be recruited.；
请登录查看Since this study targets new migrant families in general, we will exclude parents or children who have clinical diagnosis of severe mental illness (e.g. psychosis) as they will need more specialized services.；
